“A medley of color and nutrients”
While visiting friends in Victoria, Canada we went to a local Farmer’s Market. As I was walking through the market, one vendor caught my eye. Their artistic display of vegetables with various vibrant colors enticed me.
I would tell you that those colors temped me not only as part of my meal, but also as part of my pastel painting. I took a few pictures of the vegetable stand, and upon my return home started painting these inspired square botanical pieces.
Flowers from my garden are part of my inspiration too.
